Bournemouth Pine Walk Art Exhibition
Hello everyone, it has been ages since I last updated my blog. I do apologize as it has been manic lately. I do appreciate the comments from those who have been dropping by. The Pinewalk Art Exhibition in Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens was established over 50 years ago and is one of the largest, and longest running, open air art displays in the country. This year's open air exhibition would be starting on the 26th of May till the 9th of September. I got to know about it when I first moved to Poole but I was far from prepared to exhibit any work and besides it was already late when I did get to know about it. I did visit a couple of times last year and I was very impressed by the array of talents that were on show. I took the opportunity to chat with some of the local artists and it was very interesting.
Luckily I have been able to keep track of when the applications start and I am hoping I would be able to get a slot in May. As luck would have it I have so many works that have never been seen. Works that I have guarded very closely. The works include paintings in different media mostly oil, mixed media and hand made cards.
I will also be displaying my ACEO creations most likely in a different format. I have a lot of preparation to do alongside working full time. But I am very determined to take the bold step and put my work out there for the public to scrutinize.
I will keep you informed about the exact dates and times when I get confirmation.
