Wave at Sandbanks Beach- Oil on Canvas Painting
It is always interesting seeing how a painting affects people and how people react to it. I remember telling myself a few months ago when I started thinking about taking part in the Mudeford Arts Festival that it would be nice to have a Seascape Painting.
I painted a few small waves and thus decided to try it out on a bigger canvas.
After a few weeks of not being able to make up my mind where I really wanted this painting to go and essentially not being too happy with it I signed it off and told myself it is now finished.
I only decided to take it out with me because my mother commented on the fact that it was really nice and she loved it. Little did I know she was not going to be alone.
In the last few months, I have taken it to Sherborne, Christchurch and Winchester where the interest it generates has only but intensified.
For a lot of people, it was too big and understandably it does require a large space.
Thus after listening to the public and due to lots of interest, the painting is now available in high-quality Giclee Art Prints and Blank Greeting Cards.
I will have these with me at Mudeford Arts Festival and they would also be available on request and on the website.
The image sizes available are 9" x 12" up to 30" x 40" and they come with a mount board. The cards are 300gm card paper printed with non-fade pigment inks. The prints can be printed on both Art paper and Canvas.
All the best

This is research addressing questions about protected characteristics with honesty and transparency. The aim was to produce an equality and diversity factsheet that would help to inform Wessex Appraisal Services. We know that the healthcare profession tends to attract diversity and the findings from this research show doctors in Dorset and Hampshire are more ethnically diverse (23%) compared to the population (4.4%) as well as Nationally (13%). We hope that through these results doctors would be able to recognise they have shared characteristics thus they are not alone.
