Love Of Painting

My blog focuses on all that I find interesting as an artist, mother, doctor and as a woman. I love to share tips about painting, my views on life and how I create my art with step by step demonstration and videos.

Getting Ready

Took my paintings to the frame-maker the other day to get them framed. I took 15 paintings from my most recent collection which are of varied sizes and textures to him and we were both lost as to how to get them framed beautifully without having to lose some of the works.

Having been in the business of frame making for years he was able to figure out the best way to get the work done. Gone are the days I used to make my own frames. I have neither the time, the resources nor the strength of mind and body to undertake such enormous tasks.

As expected getting the works framed in readiness for the exhibition is going to cost me a little fortune; which is not in any way surprising. Nevertheless, I look forward to picking up the finished works in about a week's time. I am sure they would look fantastic.

Also still trying to find a photographer that would take photographs of my works. I need good quality images that would be used for Art Prints.

Been scouring the internet for art photographers based in Poole, Dorset but have been having no luck so far. I am sure they are out there but it is how to find them that is a problem for me.

Sometimes I wish I had all the time in the world to focus on my art and all that comes with it but yet again if my wish came through I still would not have enough time to do everything I want to do.

I will get there somehow.....I know I will.
