I was struck by the beautiful reflections in the water and I could not resist the urge to capture it in paint.
The Okavango region from where the river gets its name is a famous tourist destination in Botswana that is home to a wide variety of animals and wild life.
It is painted with Oil Paint using a palette knife creating a lot of movement. This known as Impasto Technique and is one of several Oil Painting Techniques artists use. Also available in Prints and Greeting cards
