Love Of Painting

My blog focuses on all that I find interesting as an artist, mother, doctor and as a woman. I love to share tips about painting, my views on life and how I create my art with step by step demonstration and videos.

Craft Ideas: Display Stands

Just a few questions to start off with:

  • Are you a crafter?

  • Do you make greeting cards; either handmade or printed with your artworks on them?

  • Do you attend craft fairs or are you planning on going to some craft/art fairs?

  • Have you gotten your cards ready and all of a sudden realized you do not have a stand to display them on?

If you answered 'YES' to any of the above questions then I have a simple message for you:

I have written several blog posts on how to make 3 different types of greeting card display stands using easily available materials.

My 1st article was written in 2009 and has been on the 1st page of google search results for the search term "How To Make A Greeting Card Display Stand" for a while now.

You can use any material you are comfortable working with e.g paper, wood. On this page is the 4 Tier greeting card display stand I made recently for one of the Craft Fairs I attended.

At the end of the page, I have included pictures and links to the other 2, showing you how you can vary your designs.

This greeting card stand has a wooden effect because I used a wooden effect sticky decorative paper.

This paper can be gotten from major stores. I got mine from the LIDL supermarket where it was on sale. See the sketch and specifications you could use to make your own stand.

HOPE YOU WOULD ENJOY MAKING YOUR GREETING CARD STAND. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON.

All the best.
